A 780mm Wollaston Meniscus Lens is mounted to a door. The subject is outside with studio strobes for lighting. The focal plane can be moved and sized and textured in anyway to recieve the ULF projections. These projections can be captured using any light sensitive material, but I have tried photo paper and digital camera. I set some white foam core board on a tripod for the focal plane. I placed the flash trigger on the camera and shoot at f2.8, 1/60, ISO 400 with a 400w/s strobe about 3 feet from the subject. the modeling light is sufficient to achieve focus by moving the “focal plane” inside the “camera”.
